About Us
Welcome
Our Ampthill Probus Club, formed in 1972, is
a friendly group of retired and semi retired
professional and business men which invites
speakers on a wide range of interesting topics
at our Monthly Meetings.
Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday
of each month at The Cross Keys pub at Pullox
Hill at 12.00 for 12.30pm. Our meetings
include an update of any Club business
followed by a 3 course lunch and concluding
with a Presentation by our chosen Speaker.
Our main aim is to create a social friendly
environment to keep in touch with our
Members. We also arrange various activities
throughout the year ranging from pub meals
to short breaks where Member’s Wives/
Partners are also invited.
During the Corona Virus outbreak the
Committee, who are concerned with
Member’s safety and wellbeing, have
decided that all contact activities will be
suspended until Government guidelines
allow us to safely continue.
In the interim our Monthly Newsletter will
be published on this website and can be
viewed on our News Page.
