Welcome
Our Ampthill Probus Club, formed in 1972, is a friendly group of retired and semi retired professional and business men which invites speakers on a wide range of interesting topics at our Monthly Meetings.
Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at The Cross Keys pub at Pullox Hill at 11.00 for 11.30am. Our meetings open with a Presentation by our chosen speaker followed by a 3 course lunch during which an update of any Club business is presented. Our main aim is to create a social friendly environment to keep in touch with our Members. We also arrange various activities throughout the year ranging from pub meals to short breaks where Member’s Wives/Partners are also invited. During the Corona Virus outbreak the Committee, who were concerned with Member’s safety and wellbeing, decided that all contact activities would be be suspended until Government guidelines allowed us to safely continue. We are pleased to announce that our club activities have now started and will continue dependent on any further Government guidelines. Our Monthly Newsletter is published on this website and can be viewed on our News Page.
